We've been living with German
Shepherds for more than a half-century and have seen the breed evolve over the decades. When GSD first became popular
in the U.S. They were trustworthy, working animals. Over the decades, overbreeding, and backyard breeders who breed
with no regard, has led to physical and temperament degradation. Today, one has to be extremely careful in choosing a
professional breeder that respects and maintains the purity of the breed. After
losing our 6 year old Shepherd to cancer, we carefully researched the breeders in North America, knowing that the next
two decades depended on a wise choice. It was obvious that von Hayden was our right choice.
From the
very beginning, we knew Kimberly was serious about German Shepherd Dogs. This is not a hobby to her, she
is passionate about her dogs. She asks prospective owners to fill out a questionnaire to ensure a match between owners and
their puppies. Her puppies are precious commodities -- the father and mother are so carefully chosen to make sure the pups
will have long and loving lives, besides being the most beautiful creatures on earth. She tries to match puppy characteristics
to their prospective new family needs.
If you are lucky enough to qualify for a puppy, you're in for a real
treat. Kimberly will be there for you when you need tips and pointers. She maintains a web-site for the owners of the litters
to share pictures and experiences, and she helps by answering questions about the lineage of the pups and her experiences
with raising GSDS. When you need help or advice, she'll stick by you throughout. It's like having a loving parent
at your side when you're raising your kids.
Just look at the puppies and you'll be in love. But they get
better and better with age -- they mature into spectacularly beautiful dogs. Our Bocko is now 5 years old.
As he and I walk around my campus during the day, people with ordinary German Shepherds stop to ask what breed he is. When
I tell them he's an German, German Shepherd, they are shocked by his beautiful coat, delicate features, and loving
personality. He is certainly not an ordinary shepherd, he's a von Hayden Shepherd. Throughout the years, Kimberly never
lost touch with us. Still to this day, she eMails to find out how Bocko is!
For us, Bocko is perfect. He's
an all-weather dog that fits into our family of kids, cats, and chaos. He's pure love, wrapped in a soft fur coat. He
lives to please, absorbs love, amplifies it, and shines it back unconditionally to everyone he encounters. He's a great
role model for humanity. Thank you, Kimberly, for giving us our dream boy!

Kim & Team von Hayden,
This email is going to be a bit off base, as I am
not an owner of any of your dogs but definitely a fan! Long story - short I have encountered 5 of your
dogs over the last 2 years in NYC. As you can imagine, living in New York City I encounter a lot of dogs, and
NONE compare to the quality of what you produce. I myself own a German Shepherd Dog Aria who was purchased without doing my
research, hard mistake to make. She was advertised as; Exceptional quality; Full Guarantee; Proven German Pedigree; Best
of the best. She she is only 4 and she is not expected to live more then 6 moths due to various health problems.
One of your buyers,
Elizabeth (Venza owner) took the time to give me your information. She also spend several hours with me chatting
about you, your dogs and facilities. All your buyers seem extremely pleased with you, the dogs and the whole
process of the purchase.
Recently we were at one of the dog parks and met a very kind lady by the name of Willa. Willa came over to greet
Aria and we started chatting. Turns out she is an old friend of yours from college, and ranted about you. She claims
that you are the reason she in love with GSD, but stuck with the bulldog as it was inherited through marriage :)
You will be hearing
from me, when I am ready for another dog. Your dogs are by far the most amazing I've seen. You should also know it appears
that you have many admirers, all over.
In love with your dogs,

I continue to be amazed by Vice. Just wanted you to know that I have had
him off-leash in the park for the past week. I have no worries. He will run 100yds to get his ball and come straight
back to me. We can walk/run together on the horsepath and he stays very close with no encouragement. He is so
loyal.
I can’t wait to get him up to Telluride. He is going to be a great hiking companion.
I booked his flight this morning. He will be out there about a month.
He loves fetch and is
obsessed with his ball. He is starting to be the leader at the dog park but the other dogs constantly steal his ball.
He has never snapped at another dog or person. He does defend himself when other dogs become aggressive but other
than that he is calm and relaxed around everyone.
I’m considering getting a coop apartment near the dog park
and he will need to be interviewed by the board. I’m sure they will be amazed at how calm and well behaved he
is.
I never had a dog like this as a kid. Ours were prone to all sorts of bad behaviors that were
nearly impossible to train out.
Hope everything is well.

We have personally known Kimberly and
her family for well over 15 years now and we've been lucky enough have watched one of the most amazing kids turn
into one of the most phenomenal and knowledgeable person, we know. Truth be told, Kimberly is a role model to many including
my kids. Over the years we have spent so much time together working, and as friends that we have had the pleasure of
getting acquainted personally with both her and her family. As long
as we've known Kimberly she has been a hard worker, who is ALWAYS pushing the envelope to what she could do. She is
not one to take the short cut or simple way out of anything, she will take the time to learn whatever task is at hand
properly instead of guessing or hoping. Kimberly, has worked time after time in my veterinarian practice just to
learn the ropes of various things, and never expected anything other then experience. There were many times we were short
handed and Kimberly was always reliable to come in regardless of the position that was needed kennel work,
vet assistance, secretary, cleaning, etc. While in my practice we found her to be helpful, creative, and a team player
all the way.
We have spent many days at Kimberly's
facilities, and I can personally say her dogs are extremely well cared for, healthy and spoiled rotten. How often do
you go to a breeding facility and see the animals catered too? In my experience never, until I we met von Hayden Shepherds. It
didn't matter if it was a scheduled appointment or an emergency visit her facilities were always clean and well organized.
Throughout the 15 years we've known
this business we have watched amazing things happen. Kimberly is an awesome dog trainer, an outstanding breeder and a phenomenal
person.
Not only do I personally own
4 German Shepherds of von Hayden's, but I care for many more through my practice. There are about 20 total dogs that we care
for our of her lines and all are well rounded and healthy dogs.
Censa (11 year old female); Karma (5
year old female; Duke (9 year old female) and Montana (6 year old male) I have owned each of these dogs from 8 weeks
on and I can say after being a vet for 41 years I have never met a German Shepherd that has come close the quality of von
Hayden's. My wife will be picking up our 5th German Shepherd from Kimberly this coming spring/summer. Since, we have
closed our practice we had and are only doing a small amount of clients from out home or vet calls as we are busy helping
raising grand kids we feel we'd like another full time k-9 resident, in our home. We would never even phantom another breeder
or kennel.
I never have a doubt in my mind when
I refer people for puppies/adult dogs/training and all the in between's. She goes beyond expectations and standards.
Kimberly stands behind her dogs 110% regardless of the circumstances or conditions she is always there for her dogs and
their owners. I know that Kimberly and her team at von Hayden Shepherds will exceed every expectation you ever
had of a breeder/trainer/kennel.

Our family has purchased a dog from Kimberly & Matt, his name is Rex he will be 2 years old in August. He is
such a pleasure to have in our family. We had no problems raising him from the time we got him when he was 8 weeks old,
He was very easy going & easy to train to live amongst our family in our home. Rex was everything we hoped for and
much much more, he far exceeded my expectations as a family pet, but proved himself to be a protective yet gentle family member.
My son who was 5 years old at that time, refers to him as his brother... they are inseparable. Rex
comes just about everywhere we go, (when I am able to take him) including to my sons Tae Kwon Do school & his aftterschool
program to practice good manners to the "small strangers" that he may encounter. The children always
look forward to see him and form a line to pet him, he is so gentle & kind to children even though he towers
over them!
Rex loves to go in the car for any kind of rides whether its just to the store for a loaf
of bread or a lengthy trip that may keep us out all day long. At times when I am not able to take Rex with us, he stands
guard of our home, his bark alone drives unwanted animals away especially a Great Blue Heron away from my koi pond
and even though he is friendly he is very wary of anybody he does not know (our Koi even feel protected by his presence,
they often swim up to him when I come over to feed them) He spends many hours alone in my house he has never has chewed
any furniture when left home alone he instead prefers his own toys over our belongings, and when we arrive home from work
he is happy to find a spot outside in our yard for a (bathroom break). His daily routine is easy for
all of us to follow. Rex stays off our furniture, he is trained to stay out of our living room with out having
to use any kind of gates or barriers, he enjoys a spot at the entrance of the room that he can lay down and oversee any
people who may be in the room. It is a great way to keep my vacuuming down & for people who may be allergic to dogs to
have a spot to sit and admire how well behaved he is. I could go on and on all about all the wonderful ways Rex
has, but before I forget... I feel that I should also mention how absolutely phenomenal Kim and Matt are. They
have so much knowledge about ALL Canines and many other animals they give the utmost attention to any questions
that you may have , and always follow up on the progress your family is having with your pup. They are such great
friends to have. If you are looking for a top of the line Breeder, Trainer, who offers the worlds smartest, kindest, easy
to train, German Shepherds, Kimberly would definitely be my pick! Congrats on finding her!!!! All
the best wishes to you and your family on the wonderful moments that are to come. Sincerely, Vaccaro

Kimberly, I would
like to thank you for Mara, and for all the hours you have spent with me on the phone day after day, week after
week helping me decide which German Shepherd would be best for my needs. Kimberly has never ever gave me any
indication that I was being a pest with all my questions about the breed, or the level I needed for what I wanted a family
protection dog for. Kimberly always returned my calls at my convenince rather than hers and I know I had slowed her down or
even stopped her from doing her everyday kennel duties. I will buy my next German Shepherd from Kimberly @ Von Hayden Shepherds
and I would recommend anyone that is in the market to getting a well trained German Shepherd, to call Kimberly or e-mail
her @ VonHaydenGermanShepherds.com for their German Shepherd needs as well. I feel I have made another lifetime freind
with Kimberly, and the Von Hayden German Shepherd family. Another thing about Kimberly, is she will go out of her way, to
help you in anyway she can to make sure you are completely satistfied with your decision or she will do whatever it takes
to make it right. Kimberly keep up the good work and freindly service and you will stay in business for a long, long time.
If there is ever anything I can help you with please feel free to call. Your freind and Mara's new handler, Kellar Family Hot Springs Ar

Hope yall and the dogs are doin well. Just reporting an update on "Griz" the sable
male we bought recently. He is growing up very fast, and soaks up training like a sponge. He is currently receiving private
dog training sessions w/ clear water training here in Denver. He already has mastered many commands such as fetch, sit, stay,
come, down, kennel up, and heel. I really think that he is a genious. The dog simply wants to do anything he can to please
me and Lindsay. We are so happy with him and love him very much. Upon a year of maturation linds and I are going to start
his protection training with clear water training.

Kimberly &
Matthew,
I saw all the testimonies on the
site and thought it would be nice to send ours in. Jazz is now 8 years old and still young as can be. We never had any health
issues. Opps, besides when she ate all the candy my husband brought back from the US. Our vet is very impressed with the health
and condition of Jazz especially at her age. She is very happy and social dog most can't believe she is actually 8! Robbie had a heart attack in Oct.
Of 2007 and was in the hospital for numerous weeks and Jazz was so depressed. The expression and excitement is undescribable
when she saw him for the first time. At first she was cautious and nervous. It was like she knew he was delicate she wouldn't
leave his side and she spend her days adoring him. Since recovery she is very alert to his actions. Robbies recovery went
quick and he is doing good. Jazz
is the most amazing dog we've ever met. I can't thank you enough for providing us with an fabulous friend, family
member, and k-9 companion. Your

It
has been my honor and privilege, to meet and exclusively work with Kimberly & von Hayden German Shepherds. Kimberly was
a total inspiration to both my business and family, she is the whole reason we are breeding and raising German Shepherds for
the last 4 years. She has been the greatest mentor anyone could ask for. She has personally taken the time to help
us set up our facilities, supplies us with top notch dogs for our breeding program, she has trained my staff and I in training,
health care and raising of puppies with such skill, and professionalism. Most importantly I can say is
she is always available for help or questions, she never gets annoyed or mad even if we call/e-mail 5 times a day. There
dogs come w/ full guarantee which they actually honor, healthy, fit and clean.
On
several occasions we have worked with other kennels, and were disappointed in the dogs, service, and professionalism. Every
single time there has been a problem with a dog from another breeder, Kimberly was there and not the breeder who swore
they'd stand behind their dogs. Usually once they have their money they are gone, much like a bolt of lightning. As
they are only in this for the money. I have never met anyone quite like Kimberly or her team, especially not in the
dog world.
I
find that team at von Hayden Shepherds are reliable, knowledgeable, experienced and professional in their program. They
are very caring and understanding and always willing to work with their clients. They love what they do, they love their
dogs and that's the bottom line. In my opinion few things that make this kennel and their dogs stand out is; 1.) Quality of
dogs 2.) Quality of health care 3.) Healthcare protocol 4.) Their Policies 5.) Customer Service
We
have spent a lot of time at von Hayden's facilities and can tell you from experience that they are a special group of people,
who will make a difference in the 'dog scene'. They have some truly fantastic dogs who are making a difference in the world
therapy work through police k-9's.
Respectfully Yours, Priscilla Moore von Moore Haus - Florida
Dear Kimberly,
Thank you very much for
all the help you have given us since buying Tucker, our little GSD from you. Even before purchasing him from you, we had contacted
several other breeders about their pups, but none of them gave us the time and info that you did. We had never had
a house dog or owned a dog of any kind before, so we had lots of questions and you gave us all the answers and even told us
questions we should be asking whether we bought one from you or not, it was alot of help! The line of communication has
been second to none. You had us call when we picked him up at the airport to make sure he was ok, and any question or concern
we have now we know we can always call you, and have several times!!! If Taylor can ever talk me into another one I know
we would go right to you, and if anyone ever asks us where to find one at, we will not hesitate to give them your number and
web site. You have been great and we will be sending pics as much as we can. Thanks again and I'm sure we will be talking
to you in the future.

Kimberly,
This is a short e-mail to offer you
my sincere appreciation for everything you have done assisting us with our importing Lou, our SchH titled German Shepherd.
Lou is one of the easy dogs to handle and live with. His temperament is the best I've seen in a long time.
Thank you for being so honest, and helpful through the whole
process. Its obvious that you have a honest, and loyal connection who will supply dogs that are capable of whatever the sport
or job.
I was a bit nervous about the process but once Lou arrived,
I realized I am not going to get screwed this time. Sv papers came with the dog, within a week of Lou's arrival, the
Bescheinigung arrived. Then, when you offered to help get Lou registered I was set back but your kindness,
as I've been burned a few times with the purchasing/importing of dogs.
Thank you for all your help

Dear Kim (and the rest of the family),
We just wanted to say thank you and let you know that we
appreciate everything that you have done in helping us to find our wonderful little addition to the family. Nero is more
than just a pet, he is part of the family Pre-spoiled is definitely what we would call him. He is so well adjusted
to not only our children and the other people in our lives, but also to the local pets in the neighborhood. We have
not met one person that hasn't commented on how beautiful, well tempered, and trained he is. Even our vet was impressed
with not only the care he received before she arrived to us, but also with the level of communication that we had with you.
It is so nice that in a world of uncertainty, (especially when it comes to buying online), that there are people like you
that make it a pleasure.
My wife and I have recommended you to everyone who has expressed
interest in a German Shepherd. We can't imagine that anyone could find a better place to find a new family member than
at your kennel. Every aspect of the experience, from selection of the pup to the shipping arrangements were top
notch! Please feel free to use us a reference for any prospective families. We would be more than happy to let
anyone else know about our wonderful experience. Thank you so much.
Sincerely,

von Hayden Crew,
My wife and I are so grateful for all you’ve
done and the extra efforts on your part to get us our devil of a monster! All through this transaction you have gone
above and beyond all expectations. From sending us the darling pictures of her to the extra effort and expense you took
to fly her to us. You have no idea how surprised we were when we went to the airport and saw the extra expense you took
to send her in such a nice carrier. After looking around our local area I have found nothing that even compares in quality
to the carrier you provided.
We took Missy to our vet as soon as we
got her and he reported her to be in absolute perfect health. She was at the ideal weight for a GSD, and the vet was
impressed. No parasites/worms, blood panel perfect, tested negative to Lymes, Ehrlichia and Heartworm. No fleas or
evidence of fleas in the near past. In addition, he stressed that she was extremely clean and well cared for. After
reading your package you put together for the vet, we was thrilled to see how well cared for she was. He liked that even though
she was a protection trained dog that she was very social and reliable (with the kids, and other dogs in the practice) Considering
she was brought the vet the same day we picked up her up from the airport, it was amazing to see he listening so well, responding
to commands almost as though the flight didn't even bother her. He over all disposition showed us that she had been played
with and taken very good care of before she ever got to us. In short, she was pre-spoiled!
All together Kimberly you made us feel
more like friends than clients. And your follow up communications about how Missy was doing reveals how much your pets
are loved. Thanks, for the extra effort of finding us a local trainer to keep up with the training.
Deepest gratitude, Richard & Susan Tiekert

Hi Kim,
My daughters and I have simply never been happier with any
dog (and we loved every single one of them!) than we are with Unix, our "Nix". He is the most intelligent, gorgeous,
lovable pup! He is so incredibly eager to learn and training him is a dream. He is an awesome family pup, loving
each of us and making us fall for him, more and more each day. We have never had a pup that was housetrained in a day,
loves his crate when it's time to sleep, listens eagerly to each new command and LEARNS THEM FAST. There isn't a single
day that passes that people stop us and say they have never seen a GSD with such a beautiful coat and temperment. He
is a waterbug, loves to swim, loves a bath and especially a good towel massage afterwards....and even loves to have his nails
clipped!
As a breeder, you are unique, in our estimation. Not
only do you breed exceptional dogs, but you have been available to us, any time, night or day, providing us with information
and support that has enabled us to bring out the absolute best in our puppy. I can state, with certainty, that I have
never dealt with a breeder that does even a fraction of what you do, to make sure that your dogs are started off and continue
on the right paw. I consider it the best good fortune to have found you and VonHayden Sheps!
Thanks for everything!

Dear Kimberly,
We are all well ! Bojar is doing well with training.
Responds to English and Czech commands. The trainer comes every week to two weeks. Bojar picks up very quickly.
The gardener brings his Shepherd/Husky every day while he cleans the yard. Cooper and Bojar are best friends.
Non stop running , playing tag, and wrestling.
Will be starting the Schutzhund training on Sundays as soon
as the yard is cleaned up. About twenty years of brush to pull out. Sure you can relate with moving.

Kimberly,
After
seeing that you have a testimonies page on your website now, I thought you might want to add one from us.
My
husband Rick gets all the credit for finding you and your wonderful operation. As a buddy of his Scott Carol who has
a Law Enforcement K-9 from your kennel, gave a very good recommendation. So, we took the time to visit with you and get to
meet with all the animals at the zoo it was great. He then reserved a Tessa/Xanter puppy and gave me an "I owe you certificate"
with a picture of Gunner inside.
For those who live too far away or just can't travel to
visit w/ von Hayden, let me describe it. Kimberly and her family live in a picture perfect country setting, with a gorgeous
home and beautiful kennel areas. All dogs are allowed in the house, and have full access to the entire property. Kennels
were well built, and immaculately clean. Beautiful play area for the puppies which was right off the family room at the time.
We brought home Gunner on February 19th, 2000. What a perfect puppy!
All together since we've owned him at 8 weeks old we have had 3 accidents in the house. House training was a sinch, and
he excelled in obedience class he responded to 8 voice commands by 16 weeks. He settled down quickly was attentive, loving
and loyal. Gunner is now nearing 8 years old and still young at heart. He is healthy, fit and active as he was at 4.
Many have told me Gunner is an ambassador of the German Shepherd breed.
As you know we own and operate a vitamin store in the city, and Gunner does a fine job representing von Hayden's kennel.
People are always
stopping us on the sidewalk, parks and while traveling to ask where we got such a stunner! Trainers have always ranted about
his temperament and trainability from day 56 when we got him.
I am not an expert
in confirmation, showing or training but I know that von Hayden is breeding many excellent dogs. They have a good eye for
quality and what they are breeding. There dogs are not cheap in price but it go to that saying you get what you pay
for. I realize that there are many pricey Shepherds that can't even hold a candle to these guys in temperament, structure, or
health.
I strongly recommend this breeder to anyone who is interested in a
German Shepherd dog, they are truly the best I have encountered in my owning of 5 dogs over time. I know our next puppy
or dog will come directly from von Hayden without a doubt in our minds.

Kimberly, My fiance Jeff and I picked up "Kurt" back in May of 2006. I wanted
to drop a note and tell you that we absolutely adore Kurt. He keep us very well entertained and brings so much love into our
household. He is a total celebrity around town. On our morning and evening walks people always stop us to say, give treats
and belly rubs!! Thanks to Kurt we now have a daily walk session with several people for the neighborhood. Which has helped
many of the senior dogs, drop some of the 'couch potatoe weight'. Kurt was impeccable at training classes and flew through all including CGC, TDI within
a few months time. You were right, he sure loves to travel in the car. We travel bi-weekly to a mental handicap hospital where
he does therapy work and I think he is in his glory between car ride/people. We are so glad we purchased our GSD Kurt
through your kennel. He is a 100% healthy and happy. Recently our neighbor Emma and Traci purchased a pup from you guys, named Wes.... They are so happy with
her especially since they lost Capa due to cancer. You've filled the void in many lives, thank you for breeding wonderfully,
awesome dogs. Merry Christmas, Courtney Kieser & Jeff Bryne Poughquag New York Kimberly,

Von Hayden, Our
beloved German Shepherd Marsal passed away on April 9th, 2005. We had him for 12 years, and the lose had devastated our
entire family, especially our two children. We began searching for a high quality breeder and decided on von Hayden German
Shepherds. Even though the were across the country, we felt their reputation spoke for itself. Their next litter that was
expected had already been spoken for. Deposits were made in advance to reserve a puppy. We would have to wait for the next
litter. Kimberly, who is the owner, made some calls and one of her clients was willing to give me her place in line and she'd
wait for the next litter. I couldn't believe she would go through so much trouble for our family. We were assigned from
the K Litter, who fit our needs. Shortly, after the pups turned 7 weeks our family took a trip out to visit with Kimberly
and her family and to take Kara home with us. As soon as we left with Kara people were stopping us and asking where we got
such a dog. She a beautiful solid black ball of fur with the cutest eyes! Here coloring was just impeccable. I have never
owned dog that has caught so much attention. She is a love and happy pet for our family. Along with the purchase Kimberly
sent a wonderful package of information pertaining to the breed, training, feeding and more. Our vet was blown away
with the caliber of dog that Kara was. She was in awesome condition and healthy as could be. Thank you von Hayden for all you have done for our family. In the future we intend to get another dog (male) from you which we
will name Lucas. Best to you
and thank you for being a world class breeder, Willma

Purchased
10 month old Lobo of von Hayden and we just LOVE him!! Kimberly answered all my Questions and emailed us back
promptly. Lobo is Beautiful Boy and a great dog at that. Her Shepherds are some of the best I have seen and they all have
the Pedigree's behind them. If your looking for Quality Shepherd than you have found the right breeder. Thanks Kimberly
for our wonderful Lobo. Would defiantly buy from this breeder again. The Janikowski's

Kimberly,
Yackko has
been with us for three years now, and he has been a wonderful addition to our family. I recently sent your website to a friend
who asked where we purchase Yackko from. I can't tell you how much Yackko has changed our life's. We are so
pleased with him, its unbelievable. None of us thought that a dog could change your whole world but Yackko did. My fathers
life was saved solely by Yackko, and the reason is because after his open heart surgery Dad had to get fit, and healthy. Dad
was quite depressed and embarrassed but, he start walking with Yackko every night, and since has not had any reoccurring
health issues, or surprise issues either. The Dr's. And nurses were very nervous about Dads health and were
shocked at the turn around in Dad as are we too. We have attached some photos of Yackko
with Dad, as well as our children. We hope you enjoy these photos. All the best, The Parsons Family Waterloo, Iowa Kimberly, Matt, Anthony and the whole family at von Hayden, When I set about to purchase a
puppy, I first thought to myself I was purchasing a pet. Because I bought from von Hayden German Shepherds, what I ended up
with was so much more. I have a new family member that has taken hold of a place in our hearts that we didn't even know
was there. Striker has made our lives richer and fuller then we ever knew they could be. I can't
take Striker anywhere without people commenting on his beauty, how well behaved he is and asking where did you get him. I
don't hesitate to tell them that I not only gained a pet, friend, protector and most of all a family member. I also tell
them about the family I gained when I purchased Striker. The von Hayden Family as well. I let them know how extremely knowledgeable
you are, how I contact you at any time with questions in regards to Striker. I also advise them that regardless of the
fact that you are extremely busy, you always get right back to me and spend any amount of time it might take to answer my
question(s) and allay my concerns. What I don't get a chance to tell them is how you keep in touch with
me asking for pictures of Striker, and asking now only about his well being, but mine too. I would like to spend forever telling
them how you keep me upprised on the progress of the other puppies (including the new litters) as well as your beautiful son,
Anthony. I don't always get the change to tell them just how wonderful you are and how well you have treated me. If, however,
they contact you as I suggest, they will soon learn this for themselves. Von Hayden German Shepherds has
changed my life so much for the better and that is impossible to put a monetary value on it. I'd
like to offer sincere thanks and owe you more then I can ever say. Susan Callahan (Walker Valley,

I bought a beautiful female sable German
Shepherd from Kim, she has turned out to be quiet amazing. She loves the dog park, and is very loved by the local Police
Officers who always stop to see her. She is also working on some agility courses, which she seems to like as well. Very great
with our kids, and our little dog Clint. Would love to purchase a male at some point from her. Beautiful dogs we love her.
Thanks, Gloria

Kimberly, What
an incredible dog you've produced, our family is more then thankful for Socks. We've owned 5 previous GSDS and Socks
blows them out of the water. We've been missing the true character of a German Shepherd Dog for over 30 years. We also
didn't believe it was possible to have a dog who had it all from looks, health and temperament. Its unbelievable we always
thought GSDS were prone to health problems well, you have proved us wrong. Socks is a stunning bi-color female who is
correct in structure and temperament. She is very upbeat and social with everyone, its great. We can take her anywhere
and everywhere and not have to worry about anything, ever!!!!! She has completed her training with my uncle doing area patrol
for our farm and she does a great job. We've haven't had any of our fields eaten up by deer since she has started
her training. Oh boy we were loosing big money with the deer eating all our crops. Harold wants to get another pup late this
summer to do herding work with for our sheep and he was intent on waiting for another one of your litters. You've done
a wonderful job with your breeding program and thank you so much for all your help and assistance with everything. We look forward to coming out to visit with you and your wonderful
family this summer. Tell everyone 'the buggers' send their love :-) Do you recall when
our daughter tried to tell you her name and you heard the buggers? Got to love the kids, Anthony is such a Cutie, I just want
to eat him up. Your friends, Rosanne & Harold Bucker (McConnelsville, Ohio) |
Hi it's Brian. Sorry I haven't sent you pics sooner. Carlee and I have been
pretty much around the world and back. I'll keep sending you more as soon as I get them transferred over to my laptop.
She is an amazing dog!! I don't know what I would do without her. Thank you very much and I look forward to getting Carlee
a sister in the near future. The first two pics are the most recent and needless to say shes already destroyed that toy lol,
the third is her with myself at work, she even rides the trucks to calls with us and enjoys it, the last pic is from my sister
when she took care of Carlee when I had surgery and thought it would be funny to go buy and put on a "I love my
fireman" T-Shirt. Enjoy I'll send you more soon!!
Brian and Carlee (Indiana) Kimberly, We have enclosed
a few photos of the wonderful pup we purchase from you. We have since re-named her Heidi. The photo's were taken a few
months ago at the local nursing home we frequently visit doing therapy work! The last 2 years have been a joy every moment
with her. Heidi is our fourth German Shepherd and by far the best yet. Heidi is just a perfect dog and exhibits all the best traits of a Shepherd loyal and loving. She
is very social but yet protective, of her property. She is ball and toy crazy. She's extremely smart and quick to learn.
Heidi like most of our past dogs have the meltdown with the chin rub. We often find ourselves saying 'she's way
too smart for her own good'. She 'herds' the neighbors cats off the property, nicely but quickly. She is
very organized and must keep all the toys in one big pile, so she can stand there for hours watching them. We were approached by a lady right in town while we
were doing our basic training asking if we would be interested in coming for an evaluation for therapy work at the
local nursing home. I told her I wasn't sure, if she was ready for something big like that, but we'd love to
try. Of coarse Heidi passed with flying colors, the evaluator actually asked where we purchased her from. She
says she's met another one of our dogs who was absolutely correct in structure, temperament and nerves who went onto AKC
Agility after receiving their CGC, and TDI from her. She said she is very pleased to see that there some 'ethical
breeders' left. She has probably since e-mailed or called you, she said she been in the market for a new 'demo
dog' and was going to get in touch with you, be on the look out! Heidi is such a doll with the kids, gentle and kind with them. With Heidi being among your family as a young
pup was very influential to her personality. Three of our other dogs were raised in a kennel not a home environment. Jake
the other shepherd we had that I told you about was home-raised but, had way too many behavioral issues, not enough of something
growing up. We are extremely grateful to have met you and your family and can't thank you enough for breeding and
raising such a great dog. I am sorry we lost touch but, with our recent move across the country for Paul's job, things
are starting to iron out now, 5 months later. We can't wait to see you again this summer. Thank you again for the wonderful addition to our lives. Sincerely, Shawna & Paul Ruberstein (Eastport
Maine now living in Huntington Oregon) |
We have been lucky enough to have one of Kim's puppies join
our family. Although, Rik is still a pup, we can tell that he is going to grow into a very special dog. He is gorgeous
and constantly tons of fun!
Everything that VHGS says on the web site about how they raises the puppies
is true. From day one we could view pictures of the pups, and often videos. Kim is very conscientious about all details
from their birth to tracking them in their new homes. It's obvious that the puppies are raised with much love and care.
He is a very balanced puppy. Training so far has been a breeze. Our vet has also been very impressed. To quote him, she said,
"I see tons of puppies, and he seems exceptional."
Kim is very available to answer questions, give
advice, and is a great source for raising healthy, happy dogs. She has also been helpful with advice about my American line
shepherd who has some skin and allergy issues.
As owners and lovers of German Shepherds for 30 years
now, I can say that the German line German Shepherds are very special , and we are very fortunate to have found Kim who
is a very special breeder.
